ProCanine

ProCanine is a family run business operating in and around the West Yorkshire area. We have personally owned various breeds of dogs including German Shepherds, Spaniels, Setters and cross breeds. I got my 1st dog at just 15 years of age, and to this day have never been without one since.

My love of dogs has led me to run both a pet supply and animal feed business, along side a behavioural and rehabilitation school.

Behavioural issues can occur with dogs of all breeds and ages, and with both new and experienced owners. We have dealt with all kinds of issues and rehabilitated the dogs in various ways. If you are experiencing behavioural issues with your dog, and have been unable to correct the behaviour, don't panic! Contact ProCanine and we are sure we'll have a solution for both you and your dog.

Our background is breeding, training and supplying working dogs to the Police, Prison Service, Customs and the Ministry of Defence. We train General Purpose Dogs (German Shepherds and Belgian Malinois) and Search Dogs for Drugs, Explosives and Currency (Springer Spaniels and Labrador Retrievers).

The early stages of training working dogs focusses on both Socialisation and Environmental Training. We believe that this isn't just relevant to working dogs, and strongly recommend that pet owners should go through the same training area's. Because of this, we have developed our own unique training classes for new owners and their puppies. You can find more information on this on our 'training' page.

ProCanine can provide any kind of training for both new and existing customers. If there is something in particular that you are experiencing with your dog, or you're looking for a course that isn't mentioned on our website, please get in touch.
